MATTHEW
The book of Matthew is full of examples of how incredibly powerful faith is. These verses put things into perspective and help us to realize that if we have faith in God, anything is possible. Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20 and 21:21 that if we have absolute faith a mountain can move, it will move. How crazy and wonderful is that?
And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”
Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
JOHN
John 3:16 is without a doubt the most well-known verse of all time… and for good reason. This verse encapsulates the Gospel and the basis for the Christian faith. ROMANS

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

EPHESIANS
These verses in Ephesians incorporate the importance of grace and love while also explaining that if you have faith, the love of Christ (which is greater than we can comprehend) will save us.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one…
JAMES
Life brings trials, but the good news is that when we face trials and our faith is tested, we are strengthened. Even better—we can always rely on God and come to Him when we need guidance and direction. As verse 6 states, we must ask God in faith—without doubting—as difficult as that can be.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
1 JOHN
It’s as simple as this: if we maintain our faith, we overcome the world as Jesus overcame the world. We have victory in Jesus!
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
